MUMBAI : Gautam Rode is a well known name in the television industry. He and his wife Pankhuri are in the best phase of their life as they recently welcomed a twin boy and girl. They are active on social media, sharing glimpses of their babies now and then. The couple, who were expecting twin babies, were blessed with a baby girl and a baby boy on 25th July.

Due to his good looks, toned body, and excellent on-screen persona, he has gained a large fan base among viewers of Indian daily soap operas both domestically and internationally. He married Pankhuri Awasthy in 2018. She costarred with him in the Sony TV mythological series Suryaputra Karn. Despite their fourteen-year age difference, the two became close and fell in love.

Speaking of how his life has changed post fatherhood, Gautam said, “You change a lot as a person because you are now responsible for two little lives. In fact, those lives are more important and loved than your own life. It is a different feeling, there are no words for it. You do everything to and spend as much time with your babies as possible. You feel happy when you are sitting and playing with them. They have started to react a lot now, if you smile, they also start laughing. I can’t explain this feeling.”
He added, “Earlier, Pankhuri and I used to make plans for the weekend... We don’t party much since the beginning, but we used to have these movies, coffee and dinner dates. That has completely changed for the good... I don’t even remember when was the last time we went out. The twins are just ten months old, so little, and my life!”
