MUMBAI: One of the most cherished television programs of the present day is Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Following Bhavika Sharma's appearance in the show opposite Hitesh Bhardwaj, the serial took a radical turn.
As Arsh Gujral, Ankita Arora joined the cast of the show and has been a major player in the plot.
Drama is prevalent in the program, and Ankit and Bhavika, who portrays Savi, the female lead, are frequently at odds. Ankit just discussed his experience filming the episode and spoke at length about his character in the show and what he likes most about it.
Ankit stated, “Arsh is a very different character and there are many shades to his personality. I am working hard and putting in my best to make this character a success.”
When questioned about television trying to keep up with the content as OTT has quite some bold scenes and is a content driven platform where diverse concepts are explored, Ankit shared, “The thing is that if there is one show, film or a series that is a hit, there will be more seasons, franchises or parts which will be made. Now in OTT, if people are making OTT projects which are bold and people started watching it, people started incorporating the same in their projects. While some made it on purpose, some made it because the script demanded it. The audience is smart enough to judge what is purposefully made and what is not.
But now there are some projects which were very good or songs which were soulful in the past. Then why are they not made now? That is because it does not have an audience! It is demand and supply.”
