MUMBAI: Over the years, television has come up with a number of television shows that struck a chord with the viewers. While the narration of the story mesmerises the viewers, the love story makes a special place in their hearts. And sometimes audiences even fall in love with the lead couple’s chemistry so much that they wish to see them turn into a real life couple.

Let us go through the popular names who were immensely loved by fans but they failed to survive.

Abhimanyu and Akshara from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod played the leads of the show in generation 3. As Abhimanyu and Akshara, they were immensely loved by the fans however, the season ended and made way for the fourth generation leaving the fans disappointed.
Ishqi and Ahaan from Ishk Par Zor Nahi
Played by Akshtia Mudgal and Param Singh, the show narrated the story of Ahaan Malhotra, a successful businessman, who lives by discipline and family values, crosses paths with Ishqi, a girl who believes that love conquers all. The show was loved and the fans even shipped their names together as Ishqaan however, the show went off air breaking the hearts of the fans.
Ishaan and Savi from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin:
The story of the second season featuring Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma was short lived. The show will soon be headed for a leap and the audience is extremely disheartened with the new development.
Aaradhana and Reyansh from Barsatein - Mausam Pyaar Ka:
Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon were the leads of the show. This show became an audience favourite within a short span of time. While the audience could not imagine Shivangi’s pairing with anyone except for Mohsin Khan, her co-actor from her previous serial, Yeh RIshta Kya Kehlata Hai, this was a fresh pairing which was accepted by one and all. The audience loved them as Aaradhana and Reyansh however, the show bit the dust.
Fateh and Tejo from Udariyaann:
Played by Ankit Gupta and Pranali Rathod, the audience was head over heels in love with the characters and even shipped their names together as #Fatejo. However, Priyanka and Ankit both quit the show because they chose to be a part of reality show Bigg Boss 16.
