Ginny Virdi and Moni Rai roped in for Colors' Mohar

Tellychakkar.com earlier reported about Guruodev Bhalla Productions coming up with a show on Colors titled ‘Mohar’. A show on the lines of bonded labour, has already roped in talented actors Kiran Karmarkar, Suhasini Mulay and Lubna Salim for central roles. We now hear that actress Ginny Virdi who was last seen in Sahara One’s Aakhir Bahu Bhi Toh Beti Hee Hai has been roped in to play the male lead’s mother. A source states, “She will essay the role of the male kid’s mother who will be power hungry. A very aggressive woman with a stylized way of living, she will want her son to get all the power.” Also, actor Moni Rai who was again part of the Sahara show Aakhir Bahu.. has been finalized to play father to the male kid. His character will be shown to be a powerless guy. When contacted, Moni Rai who essayed the role of Balbal in Aakhir Bahu remained unavailable for comment. We could not get through to Ginny too to get a confirmation. The show which will launch in June will be produced by Guruodev Bhalla and Dhawal Gada, son of Jayantilal Gada of Pen India Pvt. Ltd.
