MUMBAI: Govinda and Shakti Kapoor will be seen as the special guests on Zee Comedy Show during the Independence Day Special Episodes
 
Even as the pandemic continues to cast its shadow of stress, Zee TV is making an attempt to lighten up the country's collective mood by offering its viewers an escape from all the stress via the route of rib-tickling comedy through its upcoming reality show, Zee Comedy Show. While the first few episodes helped every Indian family unwind on their couch with some of India's top comedians making them LOL their stress away, this weekend, we will see Govinda and Shakti Kapoor making us ROFL with their hilarious antics. The Bollywood stars will be seen as special guests during the Independence Day special episode where all the eleven comedians will come together as - Team Hasaayenge and make each one of us laugh out loud!

While the hilarious acts put up by all the comedians coupled with the witty reactions of Farah Khan surely left everyone in splits, it was Govinda and Shakti Kapoor who were seen unwinding in a #HasiOnStressGone mood during the shoot! Taking the entertainment level a notch higher, Govinda and Shakti Kapoor put on their acting shoes and recreated their iconic Raj Babu act with both of them dressed as the iconic jodi of Nandu and Raja Babu respectively. While Nandu was seen in his usual avatar of boxer shorts and a vest, Raja Babu was seen in a kurta pyjama and a koti. The look truly made everyone nostalgic but their hilarious act on turning into politicians left everyone laughing their hearts out. Performing the iconic act 27 years after it premiered in theatres was truly emotional for the duo, but they aced it and proved themselves as the legendary superstars.

In fact, Farah Khan was left stunned by the act, as she mentioned, “It was an epic act, we all know that they are legends and seeing them perform such an act was a treat for everyone. It made us all laugh out loud.”
