The dashing dude Nikhil Pandey who enthralled all with his devious acts in shows like Pyaar Ka Dard and Mohi is all set to turn an obsessive lover, for DD’s Khwabon Ke Darmiyan (Cinevision).
Sharing details about the character, a source, said, “Nikhil will play Rudra, the illegitimate child of the family. He will enter the house as the ex boyfriend of the lead girl. A psychotic lover, he would create troubles for the girl and the family.”
When we buzzed Nikhil he confirmed the entry and said, “It is a super interesting character who is obsessed about his love. Shades of SRK’s Darr will be seen in Rudra’s character. I am having a gala time playing it as I have never done anything like this. From shayaris to pagalpan, the character has some really enticing shades that got me to sign the project.”
With him playing an obsessive lover, we asked the actor if he has had a similar experience in real life. “Yes I am a passionate lover in real life too. And my obsession is acting (laughs). Trust me; I am seriously obsessed with my craft. I fought with my family, left my home to live my dreams. Thankfully the industry hasn’t spurned by affection and has accepted me with open arms.”
