Gurdeep in a new avatar!

Four hours of waiting on the sets of Sinndoor... was worth it! When Gurdeep emerged in her bright pink outfit, with chura (knife) in hand...all hell broke loose! Zee's Sinndoor, Tere Naam Ka, will see a major twist on 29 June. Its protagonist, played by Gurdeep Kohli will be seen in a double role --- as Vedika, the bahu of the Raizada family and as a dancer, Lali. Gurdeep seemed at ease playing the street smart Lali, but the chura played truant by refusing to flick open. It took a lot of trouble from Gurdeep and a couple of retakes to get the shot canned! Gurdeep just laughed through it all! The storyline, to accommodate Lali, will take an interesting turn. Dhruv, Vedika's husband will have an accident and will be paralysed. Doctors will tell the Raizada family that he can only be saved if Vedika comes to his rescue. But unfortunately, their bahu will be in an asylum. One day the family will see a girl resembling Vedika dancing at a party --- in a very filmi way -- which will be a blessing in disguise for the family. To save Dhruv, the family pursues Lali to act as Vedika. Didn't we tell you earlier that storylines in tellydom are increasingly going the filmi way?
