MUMBAI : Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been one of the most loved comedy shows of our time. The story, performances and dialogues have touched millions of hearts and even today is remembered of the memorable characters like Dayaben, Roshan, etc. In a shocking turn of events, actor Gurucharan Singh who is popular for playing the role of Roshan Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has gone missing for four days now. He was last seen at the Delhi airport.
It has been 8 days since the actor has been missing and there is no sign of him. Now, the latest report suggests that the actor was going through a financial crunch. Also there were reports that the actor was soon to be married. In a CCTV footage the actor was last seen walking with a backpack.
A kidnapping case has been registered as per the complaint filed by Singh’s father. As per a new statement by the police, Singh withdrew Rs 7000 from the ATM and the location was traced to Palam in Delhi, After that the actor’s phone was switched off and his family could not reach him.
In an old interview, Gurucharan revealed that he was approached for Bigg Boss 15. He once confirmed, “They told me that they want me in Bigg Boss, so when last time I came to Mumbai I told them let’s meet, and they were telling me that they want to meet in Film City. So, I said let’s go to Film City, no problem, but then they said that they couldn’t meet at that time, but they could meet later on. So, I told them I’m going back then it is not possible. I don’t know. They wanted me in Bigg Boss, but whether it is true or not, I don’t know.”
Meanwhile, the missing actor’s on-screen son Gogi aka Samay Shah revealed, “He was happy when we spoke. I still cannot believe that people are saying he was depressed. He is not that kind of a person, but then you cannot predict how human consciousness works sometimes. Whenever we spoke, he was very kind and sweet; he was keeping alright, and he would continuously check on me. I don’t think he was depressed. However, we never had the kind of conversations he would have with his parents or friends. I was like a son to him.”
