Gutur Gu season 3 to end

It’s bad news for the loyal viewers of SAB TV. Popular silent comedy show Gutur Gu 3 (Fireworks Productions) is all set to bid adieu. Our sources have revealed that the makers are all set to wrap up the popular bi-weekly comedy show and the shooting for the same will be completed by 25th November. Gutur Gu will end after airing three more episodes and once it’s off air, its slot will see re runs (7PM). In the future channel might bring in a replacement show, but nothing has been finalized at this point of time. When we contacted actor K K Goswami for the same, the actor with a heavy heart said, “This kind of show is a very different one. We use to work really hard for the show. This type of show is a first of its kind on television. I am really sad after hearing the news”. “When I first heard about the news I was completely shocked. We started the show without doing any publicity. I guess it was doing well but, now we can’t help it that it is going off air”, added the actor. Our source also commented, “The show was doing well. There are shows with lesser TRPs than this one, but those are still being aired. It was channel’s decision to end the show. This type of show should not be judged on the basis of TRPs”. We also contacted Anooj Kapoor, Senior EVP & Business Head of the channel for a comment. He replied, “It is too early to comment. Nothing has yet been finalized”. We also tried reaching B P Singh (Producer), Kunal Kumar and Bhavna Balsavar but they remained unavailable to comment.
