A hadsaa before hadsaa

Rookie actor Himani Chawla makes her debut with a crime thriller Hadsaa (tragedy) but before the first episode goes on air, the Delhi girl suffered a hadsaa herself after fracturing her heel while performing a stunt. Recalling her plight, Himani says, “On 29th April, we were shooting in Jodhpur. Karan (Oberoi) and I were chasing a goon from one terrace to the other. Initially, it was Karan who was supposed to jump from a 16ft terrace but I insisted on doing it. Instead of landing on my foot, I touched ground on my heels.” Adding further, she says, “I realised that I’d hurt my left heel really badly but I kept running till the shot was completed. For nearly four minutes I withstood the pain. Once it was over, I fell flat on to the ground. I was immediately rushed to the hospital where the subsequent X-rays revealed a fracture to the heel.” Despite this injury, Himani hasn’t stopped her shoot. She informs, “I have been reporting to the sets regularly. However, I’m not performing any stunts till my heel heals completely. My family too isn’t aware of it. I’m a typical feisty Punjabi girl, who would dare to do anything. Upon my recovery, I’ll be back to doing all the crazy stuff again” We just hope that lightening doesn’t strike twice.
