Harbhajan Singh has the knack of getting into trouble; be it intentional or not. Post the Maa ki controversy and slapgate episode, the cricketer vowed to maintain his cool but he’s ended up creating another controversy. This time it’s not the cricket field but on the dance floor of Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena. Last week, viewers saw Harbhajan dressed as Ravan and trying to woo Sita (Mona Singh) on the dance reality show Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena. This act of Harbhajan has riled Akal Takht (the highest Sikh Temporal seat). The Akal Takht has objected to Harbhajan wearing a tilak and dancing as Ravana. This was flashed across various news channels yesterday. Jathedar Gyani Gurbachan Singh has reportedly said that if somebody files a complaint, suitable action against the cricketer could be initiated irrespective of the fact that he is not a baptised Sikh. The Takht has demanded an immediate apology from Harbhajan. It’s not the first time that Harbhajan has accidentally cause grief to people from his own community. Some time back, the cricketer had invoked the wrath of the Sikhs across the country when he walked the ramp without his turban. Then the Sikhs gurus had threatened to ban him from the community. This is the last thing that Harbhajan would have asked for especially at a time when the Indian team is having a tough in the ongoing Test match against Australia in Bangalore.
