MUMBAI: The fate of high budget film, ‘No Means No’ directed by Vikash Verma is hanging due to the uncertainty of the Pandemic. They plan to hit the cinemas in early 2021 spring. Similarly, films like Suryavanshi and other #83TheFilm are also following the same path for a 2021 Jan to March
Coronavirus has struck the world in unprecedented ways — closing borders, creating social distance and, sadly, resulting in many, many untimely deaths. The film industry has also suffered immensely throughout this period—both in regard to film production and its theatrical releases.
No Means No, the upcoming Thriller directed by Vikash Verma, has fallen victim to this pandemic—but thankfully it will recover. It’s initial theatrical release has, so far, been delayed until early 2021 at the earliest, in line with when movie theatres will freely open their doors once again.
“Despite the disappointment this will bring to many cinema fans, it is of course a price we must pay in order to slow the spread of the virus and protect those around us. And, although for many of us cinema is our passion, it’s of course a small price to pay for global health,” says Vikash Verma.
Dhruv Verma is the lead in this Vikash Verma directed Indo-Polish action film. Other star cast of the film includes Gulshan Grover, Deep Raj Rana & Sharad Kapoor from India besides Polish actors Natalia Bak, Anna Guzik, Slywia Czech, actor Pawel Czech, actor Jersey Handzlik, Anna Ador and Kat Kristian besides Nazia Hassan (actor Sanjay Dutt’s niece). It’s an action-Packed love story with Cutting-edge adventure set in some of the beautiful locations in Poland and other part of Europe.
Debutant Bollywood Action Hero Dhruv Verma was trained in Action sequences by Bollywood Superstar Sanjay Dutt and Hollywood action star Steven Seagal. He's been groomed by Preity Zinta who's given a classic James Bond look. Dhruv has learned the ropes of Dance from Shiamak Davar.
Reportedly amongst the most expensive movies made in Bollywood, ‘No Means No’ is an action packed love story. Produced by G7 Films Poland, it is mostly shot in the picturesque but chilling -30 degree Celsius locales of Poland. The music of this No Means No is given by legendary singer Hariharan. It is the new age of Hollywood and Bollywood movie-making.
