MUMBAI: With the path-breaking and unique show concepts, Sony Entertainment Television has always known to be a trendsetter. Besides the unique and groundbreaking content, there’s a common thread that binds all the shows together across genres. And that is look and the styling of characters in the show. Be it the fringe hairstyle of Mona Singh in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, the elegant suits and Bandhgalas of Amitabh Bachchan in Kaun Banega Crorepati or Shilpa Shetty’s glamorous look in Super Dancer. Their styles and wardrobes have a special place in the audience’s mind.
Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming kids singing reality show Superstar Singer is not far behind in this race. The show is all set to launch and excitement and preparation are on its peak not only for the participants but also for the judges. Sticking to tradition judges are all set to make their mark in the fashion scene. Judges Javed Ali and Himesh Reshamiyya are seen going a notch higher with their wardrobes.
Javed Ali who is known to be very subtle with his choice of outfits will ditch his simplicity and go all out with cool, funky casuals. Commenting on the look he says “At first I was not sure how will this attire look on me but since it’s the first season I thought of trying something different. Now I am comfortable and happy with it.”
On the other hand, Himesh Reshamiyya never shies away from experimenting be it his music or his style. The ace music director and singer will be seen wearing monotone color shades formals in the show. He says “ I like trying new looks and Superstar Singer has given me this opportunity to switch my style. So, I am pretty excited.”
One thing is for sure, along with the competition among the contestants, the battle of ‘who pulls it off better’ between the judges will be something to watch out for.
