Hitesh Chauhan of Perfect Bride fame in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's show on Star Plus

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's maiden project on Star Plus is hogging all the limelight these days. Some of them include Monica Bedi, Yatin Karyekar, Chetan Pandit, Ragini Shah and of course, Jennifer Winget. Now the latest one to join the gang is Hitesh Chauhan. He gained popularity via Star Plus' Perfect Bride, wherein he married the show's winner, Roompa. In SLB's serial,Hitesh will play the role of Chandrakant (parallel lead), an orphan who lives with a family in Scotland and he will be the male lead's close friend. "Yes I have shot for the pilot but I can't comment on my character or the show," said Hitesh. As reported earlier, the show is expected to go on floors in March and will hit the screens in April, 2012. Our source also informed that Sanjay, living up to his aura and penchant for making larger than life movies, churned out a pilot episode, which blew away the channel officials. "They loved it and said that it will set an example in the TV industry on how to shoot pilot," the source went on to say. Well, it seems that SLB will definitely weave magic on the small screen as well!!!
