'Holi effect' hits Ankit Gera yet again as he falls ill...read on for info

It’s ‘summer time’ yet again, and actors who usually go through a rigorous schedule tend to fall sick!! However, for actor Ankit Gera, who essays the lead role of Mayank in Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (Shakuntalam Telefilms), it is the ‘Holi effect’ that has affected his health. Wonder why are we saying so? Well, this is for the second consecutive year that Ankit has been having high fever during the time of Holi. A source from the set of the show tells us that the actor has been having fever for the past three days now. “He was not in a position to shoot with us yesterday (9 March). He is presently on medication, and keeps getting high fever every now and then,” added the source. We contacted Ankit who told us, “I am having high viral fever. Even though I am shooting today, I am not in proper health. I have to see my doctor yet again, as the fever keeps coming at regular intervals even with medication.” Ankit elaborated saying “I really do not know the reason, but this seems to be happening to me around Holi. Even the last year, I was down and out during Holi and barely managed to shoot my Holi sequences. I have my performances for Holi to shoot for, and I hope I get some energy to shoot for them.” Ankit, wish you a speedy recovery!!!
