MUMBAI : DD national is one of the oldest channels on television and it comes up with a lot of interesting and old concept shows which keep the audience hooked on to the show.
Just few weeks back the channel launched her comedy show titled 'Hum Toh Middle Class Hain Ji'
The show is one of the most loved comedy shows on television and it just began a few years ago.
Hitesh Sampat is part of the show and he plays a pivotal role in the serial.
Hitesh is a well known actor and he is best known for roles in projects like London Calling, Baki Mathi Badbaki, Saali Poori Gharwali etc.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Hitesh and asked him why he signed the show and how is the environment on the sets of the show.
How did you get the project, did you do any audition or what was the procedure like?
I have done many shows for DD and my producer and he has suggested my name as this is an in house production and after many years DD itself is producing a show and I had given the audition for this show and many actors were there with me and then finally I was shortlisted and became part of the show.
What drove you to sign this new project was it the story, your character?
To be honest, the director and writer of the show Anuj, who was the creative director in Sony Tv and then Dangal, so as an actor I always wanted to work with him because he is a very senior person and it was a dream to work with. Along with the DD show I had many offers from many big shows but as an actor I wanted to work with Anuj and secondly it was DD in house. If it was another producer I would have said No so hence I wanted to do the show.
How is the environment on the sets, how is your experience working with team?
We work like a family and everyone is down to earth as the director is also down to earth.
Well, the fans enjoy watching Hitesh on the show and his character has become popular.
