Hunar Hali and Abhishek Malik's "lips" episode at the launch of Chhal...

24 Frames is all set to con the bholi bhali janta of this country. Arrey arrey…we are not being nasty or anything. We are just talking about their upcoming offering on Colors, Chhal- Sheh Aur Maat, which is to air from 19 March 2012. Now the story is about a girl named Neha (Hunar Hali) who is unsure about her identity. She is married to Rishi (Abhishek Malik) but another man, Kabir (Avinesh Rekhi), also claims to be her husband. Hmm…quite a tale it seems. But that is not what we are trying to get at. At the launch of the show, Hunar and Abhishek seemed to be over affectionate for each other. It’s okay that they are married in the show but eyebrows did rise when during the press conference Hunar tried to clean Abhishek’s lips on the stage. Even after the introduction session of the characters got over, Abhishek and Hunar stayed glued to each other and they just could not stop giggling and chatting. And on top of that, they posed for the shutterbugs all smiling and behaving super cosy like a couple. “We are just good friends. We have known each other for some time now. We all three are Punjabis ((Hunar, Abhishek, Avinesh) so we gel really well,” said Hunar when asked about her affinity towards Abhishek. Hmm…so is love brewing between the two or the coochie-cooing was just a gimmick to gain media attention. Well, only time can reveal the truth. Till then, let’s enjoy the chhal!!!
