Popular face of reality shows, Dimpy Ganguly, who recently participated in one of the most popular reality shows of the Indian television, Bigg Boss 8, chatted with the media and cleared the buzz of being engaged to someone.
Few days back a fellow contestant of the show, Sambhavna Seth, posted details and pics about Dimpy’s boyfriend in a micro blogging site, which created quite a buzz in the media.
Shedding more lights on the issue, Dimpy, post her eviction from the Bigg Boss commented, “The news of my engagement is not true. Technically I am still married to Rahul, as we are not yet done with our divorce legally.”
During the show, the viewers have witnessed Dimpy’s emotional outbursts on several moments when she asked for her estranged husband Rahul’s support.
Talking about her relationship with Rahul now, Dimpy stated, “Rahul and me, we are still good friends and we will continue to be so. But, yes we have decided to move on with our lives.”
No doubt this time Dimpy received more love from the audience than Rahul as, she successfully managed to stay longer than Rahul in the race. And when media quizzed her about the same, she broke in laughter and said, “Well, it certainly seems so.”
The lady also described her journey in the show as a self-challenging one. “For me my stay inside the house was a self-challenging one. I entered as a wild-card contestant and it was difficult to match up with those contestants, who were already inside from a long time. Moreover, I was going through a tough situation at that moment.”
“I am really glad that I have successfully stayed inside the house for so long and made it to the grand finale. I would like to congratulate Gautam and wish him all the best in life,” added Dimpy before signing off.
