Beautiful actress Ankita Majumder is truly an independent woman!

Wondering why do we say so?

Well readers, it is assumed that actors only act and indulge in all the luxuries of life. Ankita's lifestyle proves that it's a myth.

The pretty lady not just acts and spends her time and money on food and shopping but also on other important things.

The Bong beauty stays alone in her 2 bhk flat and not depending entirely on her maid, she does the household chores on her own.

“I hail from Chakdaha (West Bengal) and here I stay in a flat alone. And like my character Jarowa, I too take care of my home. I do the household chores on my own,” she shared with Tellychakkar.com when quizzed if she finds any similarity with her character Jarowa of Zee Bangla’s Jarowar Jhumko (Blues Production).

“Although I don’t like sweeping the floors as it spreads dust, I mop the floors whenever I get time in the weekends. I also clean my own cloths,” she added.

Ankita also said that she might not be exactly like Jarowa but there are many similarities.

She quipped, “Jarowa is a mature and sacrificing character. I might not be that sacrificing but I do sacrifice when the need arises.”

“I am also polite and soft-spoken like her,” she signed off.

Great going, Ankita!

The actress earlier played the female lead in Aakash Aath's 'Amader Chhoto Nodi'.
