MUMBAI: Star Plus’ popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is basking in the glory of amazing audience responses. Apart from some exciting tracks, the show also gave its viewers the rocking trio of RiMoRav: Rishi Dev, Mohena Singh, and Gaurav Wadhva. These three have taken their friendship to another level with RIMoRav Vlogs, wherein they connected with their fans and became a rage within the blink of an eye. They have achieved the milestone of more than 1 million fans on their YouTube channel.

We got in touch with Mo aka Mohena and had a brief chat about her successful venturing into vlogs. Mohena talked at length about the formation of RiMoRav Vlogs and shared some exciting insights about the same. Read on to know more.

Tell us about the bond that you share with Rishi and Gaurav.

We share an amazing bond. While shooting in Greece, we became pretty thick friends. We feel like school kids whenever we are together. Even while leaving from Yeh Rishta sets, we would leave together. While the rest of the cast would be in hurry to leave as soon as they pack up, we used to wait for each other’s pack up so that we could leave the sets together with our bottles, bags, and everything.

How did RiMoRav Vlogs happen?

It happened because Ri, Mo, and Rav became best of friends on the set. We have a mad and crazy energy and vibe, and that’s what made us come closer to each other and be the great friends that we are now. Together, we three are bonkers, and that’s what I love about us. Slowly and steadily, we realized that people really liked those energies and wanted to see more of us together, so we thought we would start vlogging. But then, from vlogging, it went on to challenges and just took a flight from there. I am extremely happy that we have around 1.5 million of subscribers in less than 1.5 years, and that is insane.

Did you expect it to be such a massive hit?

Not really. We didn’t expect it to be such a success, as we were honestly doing random and silly things and having fun. We did not know that by just doing this, we would attract so much attention. It is so overwhelming to read comments saying that people watch our videos after a long day of work and feel good. I also remember reading comments about students taking breaks from their studies and watching RiMoRav Vlogs for refreshment. It’s a light hearted, fun, and comic channel. We are very consistent and make sure that we don’t disappoint our fans and friends.

You and Rishi met before. How did Gaurav become such a thick friend?

Honestly speaking, Rishi and I never gelled. We kind of hated each other. He would say mean things to me, and I would say mean things back to him. We just couldn’t stand each other. I don’t know why it was like that. When Gaurav entered the show and we went to Greece, that’s when we became friends. I feel like Gaurav was an angel sent from above to make me and Rishi forget hatred and embrace friendship. I guess both of us were waiting for Gaurav to come and complete the trio. I believe it was God’s plan.

Rishi is somebody who can make one’s mood better. If you’re friends with him and are having a bad day, he will make sure to bring a smile on your face.
