The gorgeous Fenil Umrigar, who rose to fame with Best Friends Forever, has made her comeback with SAB TV’s newly launched comedy show Yam Hain Hum. Fenil is portraying the double role of Dhumorna and Sridevi in the show.

Fenil, tell us about the kind of response you are getting from viewers? “I am getting a very good response. This is the first time I am playing double role of totally opposite characters. In real life, I am a combination of both Dhumorna and Sridevi.”
Why did you choose to be a part of this show? “After doing youth shows, this is my first comedy project. It was a great opportunity and a big challenge for me. I am a very positive girl and like to do shows that my entire family can sit and watch together.”
So, are you done with youth-based shows? “Not really. Whatever excites me I will go for it whether it’s a youth or daily soap.”
The show is about Yamraj and Chitragupt so are you fine with less screen presence? “There is nothing like less screen space. I understand the show is about Yamraj, but even I have a good role in the show. There is no insecurity and in fact, I am getting to learn a lot of things from Manav Gohil and Atul Parchure.”
Who is your dream co-star on TV? “I really like Karan Singh Grover since Dill Mill Gayye days. I get mesmerised when I see him. He is a superb actor and I would love to work with him in the future.”
