After playing the villainous Rishab Lamba in Ravi Chopra's Viraasat, actor Aman Verma has not been seen on our television screen these days. As the buzz goes, he was last approached by Balaji to essay the role of Om in Kahaani Ghar Ghar ki but for reasons unknown it didn't work out.
"After Viraasat, I haven't received any interesting character oriented roles. I'm in no hurry and will wait till some plum role comes my way. After constantly working on daily soaps for eight years, I'm enjoying this much needed break."

So, what kind of a role is Aman looking for? "I might sound like a psycho but I want to confess my secret desire here. I would love to portray a role of a woman or maybe even a gay character. That's the only thing left for me to do on television as it's always difficult to portray something that you're completely opposite of. Some prominent actors have done it in the past, so why can't I? Apart from this, I also enjoy doing cameo roles on- screen."
As the reports go the actor has managed to clinch a meaty role in Ravi Chopra's upcoming film Pappu Pass Ho Gaya. However, he was reluctant to talk about it, "Working with Raviji is always a matter of pride for me. I'm not in a position to reveal anything about the film," quips the actor.
We hope our producers are listening to Aman's plea .
Any takers for a gay character?
