MUMBAI: Priyal Mahajan is a very talented actress. She has been a part of various TV commercials and has also done cameo roles in popular shows on the small screen, she has smitten the audience with her charming smile and cute looks!

Well, 2020 is the time of the year when Priyal has bagged a new show as the titular face of Maulkki on Colors. It is her debut as a lead and she has already accepted the challenge of projecting a character and being a part of a narrative which makes her stand out as an artist!

In conversation with Priyal, she shared, “We all are very excited and we all have been working so hard on the show. Maulkki is a show about a tradition in Haryana where a girl is married off in exchange of money and it is a distinguished show. There is quite an audience who likes watching such shows along with kitchen politics and a certain amount of drama always piques the interest of the viewer. The time and generation is changing and soon there will be a market where people would want to watch content related to infotainment on television too.”

On working with Amar Upadhyay, Priyal shared, “I was a little nervous while shooting my first scene with Amar sir as I am around such multi- faceted faces but later Amar sir made me feel comfortable. He even guided me as I found it a little difficult to dive into my character as the paths are different. Also, my on-screen character of Purvi is very naïve and soft spoken while I am more on the louder side.”
