I will do Nach Baliye for my dancer wife - Ruslaan Mumtaz

A wild card entry doesn't exactly please all and sundry. When the makers of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 (BBC Worldwide) offered Ruslaan Mumtaz the chance of entering the popular dance show as a wild card entrant, the good looking actor had no qualms in letting this one pass. Justifying his reasons for declining the offer, Ruslaan told us, "Honestly I wanted to do Jhalak but not as a wild card entrant. I wanted to be a part of it right from the very beginning because you develop a sense of belongingness and can also call it your show. Even when it comes to fiction shows, I have been offered roles in soaps especially really big and successful ones when they introduce a new character bang in the middle of the current season. But I have never accepted that. I have always played the lead in films and want to do the same in television as well. The temptation of being the hero of a project is too hard for me to resist." While Jhalak may not have happened, latest buzz revolves around Ruslaan keen on participating in Nach Baliye. When asked about the same, Ruslaan said, "I have not been approached for Nach Baliye but if I am ever offered the show, I will take it up for my wife who has been a dancer with Shaimak Davar. I don't know if it will happen but if it does, I will take it up only for my wife." Well knowing the fact that both Ruslaan and his wife Nirali are trained dancers, we hope Nach Baliye happens for this wonderful couple.
