A page from the personal diary of Giriraj Kabra Hello friends, this is Giriraj Kabra, who is known to you as Bittoo of Sahara One's Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage. Today, I have come here with two purposes: one to share my life with you all and second to thank all my fans for heaping their love on me. Born and raised in Jabalpur, I wanted to become an actor since I was a kid. But for this, I had to struggle a lot because my family, being into business, never wanted me to get into acting. And it was like walking on fire to convince my grandfather and members of the family to allow me get into the acting business. But in spite of the shortcomings, I managed to convince them and came to Mumbai in the year 2002. On coming here, I got a few modeling assignments and sometime later acting touched my feet when I got to play a few cameos starting from the very famous Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi among others. Later, I got a pivotal role in Balaji Telefilms’ Kasautii Zindagi Kay and then came Pratigya for which I played a cameo that lasted for three months. But the silver lining came my way and got me spellbound when I got shortlisted to play the lead in Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage. I am indeed thankful to God that I got to play such a role. Initially I was scared when I heard that Sanjeeda Sheikh was playing the female lead. I was under the belief that she would be very arrogant, but working with her was an awesome experience. She is a very kind hearted human being and is also very talented. Talking about my experience in the show, it is amazing. It feels good that your character is being loved and appreciated. Now let me tell you of what I dream of. My ultimate dream is to get into movies. Like any other actor I too dream to get into films. Talking about my personal life, I would say that I am a very extrovert kind of guy and love music. Do you know that I play 10 to 12 musical instruments and have sung in a number of films. Unfortunately for me, the films didn’t release. People often ask to what extent can one go to make himself famous. In reply I would say that God has been kind to me and I have abounding number of both male and female fans. About my relationship, I would say that I am very much a committed husband. My wife loves and praises me a lot. Today, my family is very happy seeing me on screen. In fact, they are my pillars and support and of course my biggest critic. As of now I would say that I will never think of leaving Piya Ka Ghar for anything as I am emotionally attached to it. If it’s workable and I get a film, I would cope up with both unless it becomes extremely necessary to quit Piya Ka Ghar. Oh! I think this has been very exhaustive both for you (in terms of reading) and me (in terms of writing). With this, my fans, I would like to thank you for you all are my strength and pillars. Adieu guys!
