I would like to use IGT talent in my film - Malaika Arora Khan

Malaika Arora Khan
The hot and sexy Malaika Arora Khan has ventured into film production with husband Arbaaz Khan, something that has kept her busy in recent times apart from taking care of her 11-year-old son. But the latest is that she will be seen as the judge on Colors’ India’s Got Talent from tonight (11 January 2013). For the uninitiated, Malaika was also a part of IGT 4 but she was a part of it for half the season. On the very popular show that premieres tonight, she said, “Yes. Last time I was here for just half the season which was the auditions. But this time around, I will be on it from start to finish. And I must say that I am amazed that how this show manages to get superb talent every year. Like I say, ‘Age no bar- caste no bar- talent baar baar’.” Since this show is all about talent, has this hot mommy learnt anything new so far? “I like to learn something new every year. Thus, while I was shooting for the show, I decided on learning bike riding as there were some amazing bikers on the show. Secondly, I also have to learn belly dancing.” What about acting in films? “We are very busy making films right now. Hence, a lot of time goes there and you don’t even realise it. We are onto our third film which is titled Dolly Ki Doli; it should be on floors in two to three months. We are currently at the stage of casting and pre-production.” Does this mean some of the talented people on this show might have a chance to feature in her film? “That’s the point. When we see so many talented people, our brain and mind is strained towards them. You also want to use that talent. And you never know, if one of these would turn out to be playback singers or choreographers in a film project. I personally like quite a few of them, but wouldn’t like to say now. So, yes, I would like to use them in my films.” How different are the IGT judges from one another? “We are very different people, different in our approach and character. That is exactly why you have variety of thought and comment. Kiranji (Kirron Kher) is very-very particular, precise and she also comes with an experience of five years, so she knows it all. Karan (Johar) can be extremely funny, witty and he can really make a situation light but at the same time he can also be strict. I think, I am a bit of a softy and I tend to melt easily. I am taken if someone makes big eyes at me. I am like let’s give another chance,” averred the elegant lady. Which act has scared her the most so far in the show? “There have been quite a few but I think the man who set himself on fire and jumped from 30 feet into the pool was the scariest by far. It was visually very scary. There was also this lanky man who stood on a pole and did a head stand at 25 feet. So yes, they are scary but there are also some silly acts where people eat creepy-crawling creatures and I can’t watch those.” Lastly, we asked her if she would like to be part of a fiction show to which she averred, “I love reality and I enjoy it.” Now, that’s one woman you wouldn’t want to miss catching about. So, do watch the show.
