Iira Soni to enter Desh Ki Beti Nandini as Rajveer's girlfriend

Sony TV’s Desh Ki Beti Nandini will have a swash-buckling entry in tonight’s episode (3 December 2013) with actress Iira Soni joining the cast. She is all set to play the role of Jeena, who is Rajveer’s (Rafi Malik) girlfriend. Jeena is an NRI, full of colors and is very much in love with Rajveer. The duo has a full-fledged relationship going on. She is a typical romantic girl, dreamy in nature. She loves to go on dates with her boyfriend; she wants all the time and attention of the man she loves. The girl has been born and brought up in London, and has a history which will unfold as the story goes on. As the story unfolds, viewers can see how a very good relationship goes through testing times and gets twisted. And this will happen when Rajveer’s political career takes to a high. When contacted, Iira who was earlier part of Rashmi Sharma Productions’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya said, “Yes, I enter Nandini as the parallel lead. My character will be positive; she is very much in love with Rajveer. She is an NRI who has come to India only to be with Rajveer. And Rajveer can put everything on the line to be with Jeena.” With Jeena’s entry, a new side of Rajveer will be shown to the audience. “Rajveer’s romantic and loving side will come as a surprise to viewers. Rajveer wants to marry Jeena, and will do everything that takes to get married to her,” added Iira. On working with Producer Rashmi Sharma again, she stated, “My track in Saathiya is not on right now, but I am very much part of the show.
