BBC Media Entertainment has been giving scope to many newcomers in their episodic love tales on Yeh Hai Aashiqui on Disney Bindass. This time, the renowned production house will bring to the acting limelight, the singing sensation of Indian Idol 5, Tia Kar. 

Tia popularly known as ‘Princess’ in her singing circuit, will make her fiction debut in this week’s episodic story. Her love interest will be Zaan Khan, from the Channel V show Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Love Story. 

The story will narrate the tale of a girl who will be a social phobic, essayed by Tia. She would show enormous confidence when in her zone, but once she would face people, she would get very diffident and under-confident. However, she will fall in love with the stud in the college, played by Zaan. But she would believe that she will never win over him, due to their contrasting personalities. 

However, the girl’s love tale will take a turn when a certain situation will prompt her to get into a totally different personality. And soon the boy will fall for her new personality. But then, the girl would get into a dilemma as the boy would have fallen for her newness, and not for what she actually is. 

Will their love story have a happy ending?

When contacted, Palki Malhotra, Creative Producer, BBC Entertainment told us, “This story about the girl being an underdog and later developing into a whole new personality will have a gripping storyline. BBC yet again gave an opportunity for a new face, Tia in this case to nurture her acting skills. Tia and Zaan have done commendably well in their roles.”

When contacted, an excited Tia told Tellychakkar.com, “I am very excited about making my acting debut. And I am thankful to the Yeh Hai Aashiqui team for giving me this opportunity. The entire crew, my co-star Zaan and our director were extremely patient with me, and helped me a lot. This character was a challenge to me, as I am very opposite to what my onscreen character is in this story.”

Zaan said: "This is a beautiful story where both the characters have different shades. After Jhalli Anjali, playing a lover boy again has been interesting and I really enjoyed the overall experience. Being back home for New Year in Bhopal I am waiting to catch the episode with my family. I also hope that all my viewers would enjoy the episode. Wish all of you a great year ahead!”
