Today, being International Environment Day, TellyChakkar got candid with Swati and in an exclusive interview, she spoke about her contribution to mother nature and how she is conserving it.
Swati shared, “I am very fond of plantations. Even back at my home in Bhopal, I have a lot of plants and trees around where I live. In Mumbai too, I have preferred living at a place where there is a balcony and a terrace to make space for my plants. I think plantations are one of the major compliments to conserving nature.”
She further added, “I am also against the usage of plastics. Even on the sets we avoid using plastic bottles and the ones that are used are taken for recycling. As for water conservation, I think it is very basic and known to everyone that it is important to use water in limits so that there is no shortage.”
Well said Swati!
