Is internet the next platform for Balaji?

After conquering television, Balaji Telefilms is eyeing new territories. As per sources, the nation’s premier production house is looking to tap the internet. “Balaji plans to produce several 10-minute short films which will only be available on the internet. They are all bold and romantic films. Recently, the likes of Adam Bedi, his wife Nisha and Splitsvilla contestant Sakshi Pradhan had auditioned for it. It is the same audition where the aspirants were asked to smooch people from the opposite sex. For a while, they were contemplating to have this project aired on a music channel but that hasn’t materialized. So, they’ll stick with the internet,” said a source. Creative head Vikas Goopta said, “Adam Bedi and those actors are not associated with Love Stories. Besides, Love stories is not happening.” Sources though maintain that Balaji will go ahead with their plans. Ekta Kapoor has always been a trendsetter and don’t surprised if the soap queen decides to log on.
