It is a conscious decision to not date an actor: Tinaa Dattaa

Tinaa Dattaa
MUMBAI: Tinaa Dattaa is pleasing to talk to, as she spreads a ray of positivity with her beaming smile and persona.

Tinaa has come a long way since we saw her in her debut show Uttaran. She has emerged as a great performer and went on to showcase her acting skills with her last show Shani on Colors.

The actress will now be seen in &TV’s upcoming horror-mystery Daayan, produced by Balaji Telefilms. Although Tinaa is known for great work on TV, her love life has always been a mystery. Hence, TellyChakkar asked the actress if she is single and what her take on marriage is.

She replied, ‘It is a conscious decision to not date an actor to be very honest. I prefer keeping my love life away. I don’t like to discuss my personal life in public and on social media. I never want to date an actor for sure, as there are a lot of insecurities. I want to have a secure life, and an actor’s life is very uncertain. Sometimes, you have work, while sometimes, you are out of job, so there are lots of ups and downs. And at times when you are doing nothing, it gets frustrating, as you have to run the house. When things don’t work out, it leads to frustration, monetary issues, fights, and ego clashes. So to have a healthy relationship, I would rather settle down with a person who is not part of this industry.’

Talking about her take on marriage, she shared, ‘Honestly, I have decided to settle down in another two to three years before I touch my 30s. I want to get married at the right time and have kids at the right time.’

When asked her if she would prefer an arranged or love marriage, she said, ‘Well, abhi tak koi mila nahi hai, so I think I will have to ask my parents to find a suitable guy for me.’
