TellyChakkar had earlier reported that Nikkhil Chaddha was approached for Amar Prem, however the latest is Nikkhil is not going to be part of it but he will be essaying the lead role in Geeta.
A source claims, “We approached Nikkhil because we wanted a face that would suit the character of Prince. Prince is basically a good looker, a charming young man with the right kind of attitude, basically a positive character. He will be cast opposite Geeta. We were considering Vipul Roy and Shaleen Bhanot however things did not work with them.”
While Nikkhil refused to comment, producer Sheel Kumar confirmed the same.
Geeta, as we had reported earlier, would be airing in the 6 pm slot on Zee.
