MUMBAI: Rushad Rana is seen as Anirudh Zaveri, Kavya's estranged husband, in Rajan Shahi's "Anupamaa". He revealed that his on-screen will do everything to win his wife back and assured that the audience will witness an interesting journey ahead, especially with this trio in the picture.
"Anupamaa" made a smashing debut in July last month. The show has kept the audience hooked with it's beautiful storyline and relatable content. It features Rupali Ganguly in the titular role of Anupamaa. Madalsa Sharma plays the character of Kavya and Sudhanshu Pandey essays Vanraj Shah on-screen.
Vanraj is married to Anupamaa but has an extra marital affair with his colleague Kavya. And now with Anirudh's entry, the audience can expect lot more drama.
Rushad said, "Anirudh's is going to create havoc in Vanraj and Kavya's life. And it's not because he is a bad guy, he just wants to win his wife back. He wants to win Kavya's love back and now that he knows that she is in love with Vanraj and she is with him, I think Anirudh will go to any extent to see that he wins her back. So it's going to be an interesting journey ahead with lots of twists."
The actor has previously worked with Rajan in TV shows like "Humare Tumhare" and "Amrit Manthan". He says it's a pleasure working with him again and appreciated him and his banner Director's Kut Productions for being so warm and loving towards everyone.
"It feels great to work with Rajan Shahi sir again. As everyone knows in the industry that it's an amazing production house. The way they treat people is amazing. It doesn't matter whether you are a big star or a technician or a spot boy, everyone gets treated with all the love and respect, which I love. Rajan Shahi is a wonderful human being and I think because of that it also translates to how he runs the production house and the kind of people he has around him. So it's an absolute pleasure to work with him. I loved the 'Anupamaa' set. Just the other day I was saying that I am missing everyone because I don't get to shoot very often, but I totally love the set and love everyone on the set," he said.
Sharing the feedback he has received for his character portrayal, the "Hip Hip Hurray" actor said, "I have been getting a fabulous response as Anirudh on 'Anupamaa'. People are loving my character, I have been given some amazing lines to speak. Thanks to the writer Bhavna for this. I just hope it is seen more often and I don't keep disappearing in the middle, that's my only hope."
