It was a frantic day on the sets of Zee's Jabb Love Hua. We reached the sets and everbody was busy doing their bit to complete their scenes for the day. With the new years just a few days away and some actors planning a sabbatical on the eve, it was all the more work for the unit including the actors. After the initial chit-chat and waiting we managed to speak to the actors and other unit people about the show that has completed 138 episodes so far and is still going strong.

Jabb Love Hua's theme has always been of interest for its different flavour. Kudos to Tony and Diya Singh for the innovative concept. This is their next after Jassi which had been a resounding success story. Unlike Jassi, Jab Love Hua has been a modest TRP raker. The story of a village boy Raghu played by Sudip Sahir and the urban girl Aanya played by Priya Badlani is witnessing a lot of action packed moments to spice up the current track and gather more TRPs.
So, what better way to do this than to introduce a wedding angle. Raghu and Aanya who have forever been seen at loggerheads and bickering at each other are finally set to tie the knot. But, it's not so easy as the situation keeps getting complex by the day with Raghu's Grandma (Pratima Kazni) adding to the pre-nuptial woes by wanting him to marry Kangna (Poonam Gulati aka Shubra of Saat Phere fame). Adds the ravishing and vivacious Priya Badlani "My character in the show has always excited me. After the marriage sequence, we expect a lot of drama to unfold. This is my first lead role and I am very lucky to be a part of it."
"Getting to play a village boy has been a great experience. And, the show has always given me a chance to do different things. I am quite happy with the way the show is shaping up" says Sudip.
Moreover, Raghu is doing a ghost act in the show to prove his innocence for being framed under a false case. So, he climbs trees, joins his own funeral in connivance with the villagers to scare his adversaries and finally succeeds in nailing the culprits.
Referring to his current ghost act, he further adds, "I had to climb a 25 feet high tree to do the ghost act and did as many retakes to get it right. But it was fun with a tinge of scare to be doing the stunt." Sudip has done serials like Ayushmaan and music videos like 'Channa Ve' apart from modeling for a range of products.
The show has been trying to catch up on TRPs and with its new storyline we hope it achieves the same.
