Janvi Vora began her TV career with a cameo in Yash Raj’s Seven and went on to do other small roles in different shows, namely Jhansi Ki Rani, Maniben.com, among others. However, Janvi’s happiness knew no bounds after bagging a permanent role in Rashmi Sharma’s Sasural Simar Ka as Karuna on Colors.
“I am thankful to the producers. Cameos give you visibility as an actor but getting a permanent role is always special,” informs Janvi.
However, there’s a problem. Not with us, but with the actress. Sadly, Janvi’s happiness was short-lived. She is bored with the current track in the show as it focuses on other characters, and not on hers.
“In a show, there are senior and junior actors. Seniors get most of the limelight and the rest just remain in the background. I am waiting for the plot to focus on me,” says Janvi.
But, the actress is hopeful that things will get better in the future. “Soon my character will turn negative and I believe that I can throw in a very good performance. I don’t want to spend 12 hours in a day reacting to someone else’s dialogues,” ends Janvi.
