Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka...is an original concept, says Kavita Barjatya

Kavita Barjatya is once again back on Sahara One with Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga after the famous Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki. The show has the basic concept of a guy and a girl falling in love. But the twist in the tale is that after marriage, the guy will go on to live with the girl’s family. And while there were rumors that the show is based on the Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit starrer Jamai Raja; Kavita rubbishes the rumors: “It is an original concept. It is a love story of Akash ( Pankaj Tiwari) and Angana (Shreya Jha) and how this story takes a new turn post their marriage is something that the audience should look forward to.” She further goes on to say, “It’s not an outdated concept as it happens even today. We know a lot of business minded families who want their son-in-laws to stay with them. In fact, there are also cases where a lot of men who do not mind surviving on their wives income. So I think it’s the right time to come up with a concept like this.” Talking about Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki, she says that she shared a great relationship with the cast and crew of the show. "I had a very good relationship with the cast and crew of Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki and I also share the same rapport with my Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli team. I like transparency. As I feel if you are going to be working with somebody for a long period of time it is better to share a transparent equation.
