Talented actress Jhumma Mitra will get negative for an episodic of Life OK’s Savdhan India. Produced by Jaaswand Productions, the story will depict the sad face of our society, as to how it is still not happy with the development and success of a girl child.
Jhumma will play the negative lead, the role of an aunt who would be extremely jealous of her ‘topper’ niece, as her own son will be bad in studies and this will hamper her reputation in the society. The lady will go on to do something drastic to get the studious girl in trouble, so that she would be forced to quit education.
Along with Jhumma, the story will also feature veteran actress Phalguni Pathak. The episodic is being directed by Suyash Vadhawkar who has directed many stories of Savdhan India, Gumrah and Yeh Hai Aashiqui.
When contacted, Jhumma told us, “It is quite a draining experience as being a bad person is not so easy. Specially being mean and scheming against a teenage girl even in screen needs an actor to forget her real self. I was literally apologizing to the girl playing my niece after every shot.”
The episodic will air soon on Savdhan India.
