Actor Jignesh Joshi is happy and contented with his small yet significant role in the recently released Emraan Hashmi flick, Mr. X. Popularly known for his negative portrayals in TV, Jignesh played a ‘baddie’ yet again in the movie.
Talking about his experience being part of the movie, Jignesh said, “It was a wonderful experience shooting with stars like Emraan Hashmi in Cape Town. Emraan is a sweet-heart and the same goes with all the other co-stars. The entire unit was fun to work with. I played the role of a minister’s son who is negative in character. I am glad that though the role was short, it proved to be significant and important in terms of the story line.”
Thanking his good old friend and Director Vikram Bhatt for giving him this opportunity, Jignesh stated, “Vikram is a dear friend, and he got in touch with me for this role. I was humbled and overwhelmed by this gesture. It was indeed a nice association with the movie Mr. X.”
The movie according to Jignesh is surely catching the eye of masses owing to its uniqueness in genre. “A movie with 3D effect does not usually release every Friday. Hence there is an eagerness in the viewers’ mind to watch this film. Above all, the special effects have come out so very well that it will engage audiences of all ages.”
Talking about his next plan, Jignesh averred, “Well, let’s see what comes my way now. I want to do something challenging, whether it be movies or roles on TV.”
Jignesh, we wish you luck!!
