Recently there were reports about Class of 2020 actress Joyita Chhaterjee dating her co-star from the show Mazhar Khan. Joyita and Mazhar played lovers, Ranchi and Ronit in the project. The reports suggested that their on-screen romance transpired in real life and that they are in a relationship.

We got in touch with the Begali beauty Joyita to confirm the same but she denied the buzz.

She said, “Well, when you work together and are paired opposite each other there is always comfort. Fans loved watching me and Mazhar together and he is a very dear friend.”

When asked about her reaction to the link-up rumours, she said, “I was shocked at first, but then slowly I made myself understand that such rumours are very common as popularity is a double-edged sword and you need to handle it with care”.

We asked the gorgeous actress about her family’s reaction and she said, “They didn't read. My brother came up to me and asked. I explained him and we laughed it off.”

So, is Joyita single? She averred, “Yes, very much.”
