It is a mourning day for all Drashti Dhami fans.

Viewers, who were all excited to see the actress back on TV with her show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani on Zee TV, will be left distraught.

Drashti, who was paired opposite Siddhant Karnick in this Sphereorigins period drama, decided to step down from the project when it was all set to roll.

Reasons?

Well as you know the pretty actress got married recently to long time boyfriend Neeraj Khemka. And post some marital bliss, the actress was to start shooting from this month. But now it seems Drashti wants to spend more time with her hubby.

Shares a friend close to the curly haired beauty, “Drashti spoke to the production house of wanting to enjoy her married life for a while. But with them adamant on going on floors soon, Drashti had no choice but to move out of the project.”

The friend also mentioned that since Drashti’s relationship with Neeraj has always been a rocky one, the two want to make up for the loss time. Also she is happy enjoying the ‘family time’ with Neeraj and is actually in no hurry to return to work.

But this ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’ aspiration of Drashti has left the producers in a fix who have begun their search from the scratch to finalise the female lead. As for now all leading ladies of TV are been auditioned and in a couple of days the name would be announced.
