Kairi cast and crew panic-stricken

Now this is one incident which is meant to create panic. Here's what really happened on the sets of Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Production Pvt Ltd's show Kairi (Colors). The actors wrapped up shooting for the mehendi sequence of Ambi (Preeti Chaudhary) last night (16 May 2012) and merrily went their way back home. After that the post production boys got busy to cut the scenes and prepare the episode which was to be sent to the channel. But there came a drama wherein an employee mistakenly pressed the "delete" instead of the "send" button. The incident came as a big shocker for everyone as the entire footage got erased out of nowhere. They did not have a back-up as they shot it on HD. However, since the mehendi sequence is to be aired tomorrow (18 May 2012), the team still had some time to re-shoot. Hence, they are busy re-shooting the whole sequence since today morning. Tellychakkar.com got in touch with producer Sumeet Mittal and he shared, "Yes, the telecast did get erased due to a mistake but we are trying to complete the shoot today." Phew...
