Shomu Mukherjee, Kajol and Tanisha’s dad and actress Tanuja’s husband passed away this morning. It has been reported that he was ailing since a long time. Shomu Mukherjee was a producer and director. <em> Sangdil Sanam, Pathar ke insaan </em> and <em> Lover Boy </em>are some of his projects.
Shomu, was the youngest son of late Sashidhar Mukherji, founder of the Filmalaya studios.

Tanuja and Kajol are currently seen together as judges along with Ajay on the reality show Rock n Roll Family. But what is sad to note is that son-in-law Ajay’s first film as director, U Me aur Hum releases tomorrow.
He was 65.
