Kanchi's plea to the government!

Kanchi Kaul is furious! Lately, she was shooting at Madh Island with co-star Shakti Anand, and it turned out to be a complete disaster as the beach was at its worst condition after the Ganesh immersion. The cast of Sony's Ek Ladki Anjaani Si was there to shoot a romantic sequence but it was not really a pleasant experience. Says Kanchi, "I hate to think of the day we were shooting at Madh. Firstly it was dirty as people had littered garbage all around the place. Secondly, the water was black! There was oil mixed with the sand and my feet had turned dark black." This is not it, she had to use coir to clean her feet as the oil was very sticky. The situation got worse when the immersed Ganesh idols were floating back on the beach. "What is the government doing? I felt really bad when I saw the broken mud pieces messing up the beach. I think the officials should really do something about it," states Kanchi. Hope the government officials are listening and will acknowledge her plea.
