Actor Om Puri is facing the heat for his grungy remarks on the recent attack in Baramulla and the sad demise of a valiant soldier.

The veteran thespian, hailed as many as one of the finest the country has ever seen, exposed his jittery and groggy side at a news channel debate held recently.

Puri’s derogatory comments towards the deceased soldier roused ire and disgust of many who took to social media to share their hurt feelings.

Indian television’s biggest star, Karan Patel aka Raman from Yeh Hai Mohabattein, also took to Twitter and snubbed Puri.

He tweeted:

Mr. Om puri (actor) this isnt #ChinaGate #Film ... so kindly shut the fu*k up and keep the bizarre suggestions to yourself. Kuch kaam karlo
