TV viewers have just seen the first promo of Zee TV’s periodic love story set up in the early 1940’s, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani with Drashti Dhami and Siddhant Karnick as leads.
Tellychakkar.com has already reported about Uday Tikekar and Moon Banerjee playing the parents of Drashti Dhami.
We now hear that talented actor Kartik Soni who was last seen essaying the role of Dilip in Colors’ Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki has been roped in for an important role.
Sources state, “Kartik will be seen playing Drashti’s elder brother. The man will be very strict and firm in his ideologies. He would love his father and sister, and will be very concerned about his family.”
We tried contacting Kartik, but he remained unavailable for comments.
As we know, Bollywood actress Anita Raj has been roped in to play mother to Siddhant.
