MUMBAI: The final 'Karamveer' episode of the season welcomed the Kargil War heroes and Param Vir Chakra Awardees Subedar Major Yogendra Singh Yadav and Subedar Sanjay Kumar.
Amitabh Bachchan asked the soldiers about the phenomenal feeling of being awarded the grand 'Param Vir Chakra'. Both of them talked about how honourable they felt as they got honoured for fighting for the nation. Subedar Major Yogendra and Subedar Sanjay revealed that they were only 19 and 23 years old respectively when they fought in the Kargil War.
Subedar Major Yogendra further narrated his story of bravery for which was awarded the 'Param Vir Chakra'. He shared that he faced a continuous firing and fought against the Pakistani army for almost five hours to not just save himself but also to save the lives of his team after losing four of his teammates. The Karamveer revealed that he was only 19 years old then and just had an experience of two and a half years in the army. He told that he was highly injured with around 15 bullets during that war at Tiger Hill in 1999.
Next, Subedar Sanjay shared his story of courage wherein he had charged at the enemy and attacked three intruders to capture the Mushkoh Valley while saving not only himself but his team members too. He unfolded the whole scenario when he finally succeeded in seizing the tasked upon the area from the enemy.
Mr. Bachchan was completely taken aback to hear the nerve-wracking stories of utmost gallantry by the Kargil War heroes. He expressed his overwhelming feeling which didn’t want him to proceed further with the game but rather keep listening to their enormous stories of outright courage.

Both the Army personalities played well and used only one lifeline till the 11th question. They again chose to use the ‘Video call a friend’ lifeline for the eleventh one and gave the correct answer of which they won Rs. 6,40,000.
Subedar Major Yogendra and Subedar Sanjay played on to win Rs. 25 lakh after using up the remaining two lifelines for the last question they played for. The amount that the Param Vir Chakra Awardees won on was donated to the 'Army Battle Casualties Welfare Fund'.
At the end of the episode, Big B thanked both the Kargil War heroes for their remarkable bravery and patriotism and saluted all such warriors for their marvellous work of protecting the nation and its citizens.
Further, the host bid his final goodbye of the season with a few wonderful words of wisdom and hoped to meet again in the next season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
