MUMBAI : When choreographer Kinshuk Vaidya shared a photo from his engagement to Diiksha Nagpal on August 23, everyone was taken aback. When you ask him why the celebration was kept so low-key, he says, "It was a small ceremony attended only by our families and close friends."Diiksha and I have both been quite busy at work. The day before the engagement, we flew back to Mumbai, and shortly after the event, we took off for other places.
He added, “If we had invited more people, we wouldn’t have been able to give them the attention they deserved.” When asked if the wedding will be as intimate as the engagement, Kinshuk said, “Not exactly. We plan to organize something soon and will keep everyone informed. We are likely to get married this year. Why wait?”
Revealing how Kinshuk and Diiksha met, the former revealed, “Diiksha and I met around 2015 through work and became friends. Over time, we realized our understanding and outlook on life were in sync, which is extremely important for any lasting relationship. That’s when we decided to take our friendship to the next level, and about a month ago, we finalized the date for our engagement. Although I am typically the quieter and calmer one, strangely, she has a soothing effect on me. She helps me untangle my issues I might be facing and brings clarity to my thoughts. It is remarkable how she always knows just what to say to bring me peace.”
