Kishwer Merchant to join the cast of BBC Worldwide's telefilm on Star Plus

Star Plus’ innovative idea of revamping its weekend slot by launching a telefilm series has emerged as the talk of the town. The series, which will showcase a diverse gamut of stories, will see many renowned actors spilling their magic namely, Karan Singh Grover, Jennifer Winget, Gautam Rode, Shilpa Anand, Viraf Patel, amongst others. And the latest we have learned is that beautiful and bubblicious Kishwer Merchant has also been roped in for the telefilm which is being produced by BBC Worldwide. Kishwer was last seen in Zee TV’s Choti Bahu and also gained quite a bit of popularity via her impressive stint in Star One’s Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani. In the telefilm, she will be playing the character of Mrs Ahluwalia, a bitchy high class socialite. “Yes, it was great fun to work under such a great banner and the show has an extremely interesting plot,” shared Kishwer with Tellychakkar.com.
