MUMBAI: OTT platforms have become a major asset to showcase talent and creativity. Makers of web series can showcase their skills to the audience in any shape and form that they wish to. The platforms provide liberation to the makers as well as the actors.
Recently, Kishwer Merchant spoke to a media portal regarding the kind of role she wants to play in web shows. The actress started her career in 1997 with Shaktimaan. She was then seen in popular show Hip Hip Hurray and featured in Babul Ki Duwayen Leti Jaa, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Kutumb, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Khichdi.
The diva mentioned that she would like to try a lesbian role on the web. So why has she stayed away from such bold roles till now?
To this, Merchantt said, 'I am looking to collaborate with big talented makers who will treat the subject aesthetically. Such guys don’t even need to go too bold.'
