Remember Krimson Skies??? Supposedly, Balaji's first venture with Star One (although Nimmo… beat it to the finishing line) is on hold or may even hit the trash can.

Krimson Skies was supposed to be a break from the usual Balaji saas bahu drama, with it's theme of music with a tinge of soap. The buzz now is that more than a year after the production house pitched the show to the channel; it is still to take concrete shape.
Krimson Skies is an adaptation of Star World's One Tree Hill and has a major musical milieu. The four leads decided for the show were Amit Tandon, Karan Patel, Surveen Chawla and Moonmoon.
"They have shot for three schedules, which accounts for around seven to eight episodes. And they have shot the entire serial three times with different perspectives, but still it didn't fall into place," say sources close to the serial.
To cap matters, Balaji's creative head Ekta Kapoor is reported to have dubbed this soap 'inauspicious' as it had to be shot three times in three different ways, and more than Rs 1,00,000 has been spent on it.
Shadab, production head for the show, is reluctant in divulging any information about the show, but on being prodded, says, "It's on hold as of now." On being asked about the likelihood of the show being dumped, he says, "No, that's not true. A lot of money has gone into it, we can't just dump it." Star India creative director Shailja Kejriwal says, "We are not talking about the show right now. It's in its development stages, so as of now, nothing's happening."
That's the official version, but the actors too are beginning to get negative vibes from the much hyped show that never took off. Surveen Chawla, who was signed as the lead tagged Grishma, blurts, "Well, nothing is happening with the show. It's been long that we have shot for it. They are not willing to talk about it, and are saying that it's on hold. But I assume that it won't happen." Surveen is currently not doing any show after Kahiin To Hoga and Kasauti Zindagii Kay on Star Plus.

While Surveen says this, Moonmoon and Amit Tandon playing Iccha and Krish respectively, say that the show's on hold and will resume shooting soon. "Last I shot for Krimson Skies was in March. I am currently doing Kasauti... and am contented. I have left everything to Balaji, I am sure whatever they do will be right," says Moonmoon
Amit sounds a bit upset, as the concept concerned his passion - music. "We aren't shooting for the show as of now, but I want it to restart as soon as possible." Currently Amit can be seen in Kyunki... after a 20 years leap.
For Krimson Skies, the question mark continues to hang over the horizon.
